Phonetics and the IPA (By Richard Chalmers)
Here are some words that he talks about in this video:
fish, elephant, cough, bough, woman, women, ink, station, sugar.
At 3:35, he shows a phonetic chart for British English pronunciation.
At 4:14, he starts going through the vowel sounds used in his dialect of British English. The set of vowels used in America is not the same. Also, the set of vowels is different for other dialects of English as well.
At 5:34, he continues the vowel sounds with the diphthongs.
At 6:10, he starts going through the consonant sounds.
