About Word Stress (or Accent)
Rachel talks about accented syllables and word stress.
Stress is usually higher pitched and longer in length.
She also talks about “reduced syllables” such as the “for” in “I got it for you.”
I couldn’t find the the link to the “pronunciation analysis” software on her website that she mentions. However, there is a similar, well-known freeware that is similar. Check out http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.
