まず自動翻訳の種類についてですが、現在出回っている中で4種類あると言われています。
1つ目がDeepL、2つ目がGoogle、 3つ目がMicrosoft、そして4つ目がアマゾンです。
次に、その中でも最も精度が高く、使い勝手がいいと言われる2つのシステムについて説明をします。
まず最初にDeepLですが、無料で使える範囲には制限があります。つまり一定数の翻訳を超えると、有料となります。その反面、精度が非常に高く、現在ある無料翻訳システムの中では最高クラスと言われています。ただし、先ほども言ったように、一定語数を超えると、有料となってしまうため、そこが問題となります。2つ目の仕組みですが、Google翻訳です。Google翻訳は、精度が非常に高く、また使い勝手も非常に良いシステムです。制度の面では、deep Lに劣ると言われていますが、語数制限なく、無料で使える良さがあります。そのことから、多くの人が、Google翻訳を用いて、日永または英日翻訳を行っています。次に機械翻訳の利点と欠点について説明をします。まず利点ですが、高い確率で精度の高い翻訳ができます。そのことから、自分で1から英語で訳すよりも、時間の大幅に短縮できます。欠点は、すべてをきちんと翻訳してくれるわけではない、ということです。
訳が自分の期待していたものと異なる場合があり、時には読み手に分けがわからない文章となってしまうことも時々ありますので、訳したものを自分で読んで確認することが必要です。
