Students will practice pronunciation of sounds that are difficult for Japanese speakers. Students will work on improving their hearing and understanding of spoken English. Students will study conversational techniques and practice these techniques through structured dialogs, dialog improvisation and pair practice conversations. Students must attend every class.
Students will further develop skills they practiced in English 1 A, such as improving their pronunciation, improving their understanding of spoken English and practicing conversational skills. Students will study travel survival English. Students will write on topics which often occur in conversations. Students must attend every class.
